Unspoken Truths by Valentino Loyola

Embodied Perception

is an ongoing series of altered photographs that conceptualizes human behavior specifically that of how we construct our own narratives and the realities of our personhood as an embodiment of perception. The individual/internal perceptions of ourselves, notions of self-subscribed values, and the agency to override misinformed/misguided definitions of our character . In considering the views from exterior vantage points the liminal space is set to decide either to conform, or not conform, the act of deconstructing, and, reconstructing our own realities is activated. Our identities on display– living exhibitions–installed in the public sphere.
